Analytics

CherokeePlays uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-free and doesn't track individuals. It counts page views in aggregate so we can see which listings are useful.

Newsletter and text signup

The signup form on this site sends your email address (and, only if you tick the text-message box and enter a number, your mobile number and consent record) to Cherokee Happenings, which runs the shared Cherokee Loop newsletter. Cherokee Happenings handles that information under its own privacy policy. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can reply STOP to any text to opt out.

Maps and links

Maps load tiles from OpenStreetMap, and fonts load from Google Fonts. Directions buttons open Google Maps. Links to parks, leagues and venues go to their own sites, which have their own policies.

No accounts or ads

CherokeePlays has no user accounts and runs no advertising trackers.
